There was a time when leaving the house was a real challenge for Leslie Weed and her daughter, Lanier. That is, until the two of them met Macon.

Macon, a service dog for children with autism, was paired with Lanier, who is on the severe spectrum of the development disorder. Years later, the dog is always by the young girl’s side, ready to play, rest and do any number of other things with the family.
