Dog obedience training class registration

The Obedience Training Class of Harrisburg will hold registration for its early spring classes 6-8 p.m. Feb. 16-18 at the training facility at 1 Souder Court, Silver Spring Township. Classes meet weekly for seven weeks beginning March 9. If registrants are unsure in which class their dog belongs, they should bring the dog to registration for evaluation. Pasta dinner

The Cumberland Valley Animal Shelter will hold a spaghetti dinner from 4-8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 6 in the cafeteria of the Chambersburg High School, 511 S. Sixth St. Tickets for the "Puppy Love Pasta Dinner" are $6 in advance or $8 at the door. The meal will include spaghetti, meatballs, a breadstick, two sides, a dessert and drink. Take-out containers will be available for food. Tickets can be purchased at CVAS or either of the shelter's thrift stores, at 66 S. Main St., Chambersburg or 1 E. King St., Shippensburg. 'Love is in the Air' cooking party

The Nobody's Cats Foundation will host the "Love is in the Air" Pampered Chef party noon-1 p.m., Feb. 14 at the foundation facility, 3909 Hartzdale Drive, Suite 905, Lower Allen Township. The volunteer work day will coincide at noon-4 p.m. Party attendees will learn how to make and sample recipes, have the chance to win prizes and order products.
