Usually dog training involves an owner attempting to change pet behaviour, but Mandy Bristow credits her dog Archie with helping her to lost half her body weight. 

The 49-year-old claims she owes four-year-old Bichon Frisé Archie a debt of gratitude for changing her attitude to exercise, by encouraging her to get up and go for long walks with him.
